| Proposal for "Bombay Sapphire
Glass Competition 2005" which entered the finals (Danish edition). The
idea is that no one drinks alone, or at least they shouldn’t. The concept
is that two glasses stick together, one glass tilts. Weather you buy one
or two drinks at the bar, you send a signal. Like an icon the characteristics of the glass in your hand, calls out for a connection. If you are alone you are able to hook up. If you are together with someone, other people will notice. The prototypes were crafted at Holmegaard Glassworks, each one carefully hand blown. |
